Human life is complex and beautiful. Through her art, Alizeh Chaudhry strives to create pieces that resonate with the experiences and feelings we encounter, reflecting on the people she has met, places she has been, and experiences she has endured.

曾参与多项国内当代艺术展览与项目，包括2021中国抽象艺术（泰州）大展、2020国际具象&抽象（特别）大展、“沉默的爆破”运河外滩艺术中心展、“3×3格抽象艺术提名展”等。同时入选无锡《画里时光》青年作品展、《田园诗》水墨邀请展及《层·叠·序》《对谈》等当代艺术展览，展现出持续的创作活跃度与多元探索。

The artist has participated in numerous contemporary art exhibitions, including major abstract art exhibitions in China, international abstract and figurative showcases, and various emerging artist programs, maintaining an active and evolving practice within the contemporary art field.

Mary Ann is an active member of the Calgary Sketch Club, the Federation of Canadian Artists, the Leighton Art Centre and The Calgary Artists Society. She attends workshops in Canada, the USA and Italy. She paints both in her studio and en plein air. She was born in Northern Ontario, is of Italian descent, and paints under her Italian maiden name Tarini. Following a career as a translator, interpreter, and a family move to Calgary, she began and continues a serious pursuit of her lifelong love of painting.

我的书法创作以“意境”为核心，将文字的诗性、笔墨的节奏与内在的精神状态融为一体。在传统书法文脉与个人感悟之间，我构建属于自身的表达方式。书法于我不仅是形式的呈现，更是一种与自我对话、与自然相融的过程，使作品从字形延展至更深层的精神与意境空间。

My calligraphic practice centers on the notion of yijing (poetic resonance), where the lyricism of text, the rhythm of ink, and an inner state of stillness converge. Situated between tradition and personal experience, I develop a language that is both grounded and introspective. For me, calligraphy is not merely a formal act, but a process of dialogue with the self and attunement to nature—allowing each work to extend beyond form into a deeper realm of presence and contemplation.
